Note: I think that my Patrick is son of Patrick and Bridget Owens. I may have this family just a tiny bit mixed up. From census records it looks like Patrick had two wives, Bridget & Mary. In 1910 Mary Owens is living with daughters Elizabeth Owens and Sarah Denyeau. It states she's a mother of two with two children living. However, due to age she couldn't actually be Elizabeth's biological mother, it would have to be Margaret and Sarah who are the two youngest.

Mrs. James M. Day died yesterday morning in her 87th year at her residence. 2206 14th street, after a lingering illness. The former Mary Owens, Mrs. Day was born in Watervliet, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Owens, and resided there until ten years ago when she moved to Troy. Her husbanc, a former city clerk of Watervliet died in 1927. During her life in Watervliet she took a wide interest in civic welfare and was acrive in local societies. In Troy she was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle's Chruch. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. J.J. Van Dataa and Mrs. Charles M. Butler or Troy, Mrs. E. O. Mink of Buffalo and Mrs. m. F. Mahony, Grosse Pointe, Mich.; four sisters, Miss Elizabeth Owens of Troy, Mrs. Margaret Waldron of Albany, Mrs. Catherine Maume, New York, and Mrs. William Denyeau, Brooklyn, and three grandchildren. Her funeral will be conducted at 9 a.m. tomorrow from the residence and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Paul the Apostle's Chruch. burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
