Owens, Patrick (b. ABT 1815, d. BEF 1900)
Note: I think that my Patrick is son of Patrick and Bridget Owens. I may have this family just a tiny bit mixed up. From census records it looks like Patrick had two wives, Bridget & Mary. In 1910 Mary Owens is living with daughters Elizabeth Owens and Sarah Denyeau. It states she's a mother of two with two children living. However, due to age she couldn't actually be Elizabeth's biological mother, it would have to be Margaret and Sarah who are the two youngest.

1860 census - West Troy, NY
Patrick, 42 born Ireland, carpenter
Bridget, 30, born Ireland
Patrick, 9, born New York
Elizabeth, 7, born New York
Thomas, 5, born New York
Margret, 3, born New York
Catherine, 11/12, born New York

1870 Census - West Troy, NY
Patrick, 55, born Ireland, carpenter
Mary, 40, born Ireland
Patrick, 19, born New York
Elizabeth, 17, born New York
Mary, 13, born New York
Catharine, 10, born New York
Margret, 9, born New York
Sarah, 6, born New York

1880 Census - Watervliet, Albany, NY
Patrick, 74, born Ireland, father born Wales, mother born Ireland
Mary, 52, born Ireland
Elizabeth, 23, born New York
Mary, 21, born New York
Caty, 19, born New York
Maggie 18, born New York
Sarah, 16, born New York

This may also be this Patrick OWENS: 18 July 1857PATRICK OWENSOF PATRICK OWENS, son of Patrick and Betty Owens, of Navan, county Meath, who came to this country about 5 or 6 years ago. His mother has since died, - and his father and three sisters are very anxious to hear from him. Any person knowing his whereabouts would do a great favor by writing to his aunt's son, John McGee, 5 Franklin street, New York.Missing friends 1831-1920Volume IV: 1857 - 1860
