Note: I think this is the same Anaa Barbara Keiner who is listed in the White Oaks Lutheran Church Records (Vol. 5, p. 124) in 1772 and 1773. So she probably didn't die in 1762 with her husband.

Note: May have been married to Sarah Miller daughter of John Miller. Besides
Veronica he had a daughter Catharina and a son Henry.
On 12 Nov 1767 Henry Stettle had 122.62 acres of land surveyed in York
Township. The property was surrounded by the Barrens and one Jacob Sherrer.
Henry Stedler appears on the 1769 tax assessment list for York Twonship with 50
acres. This appears to have been the same man as had 122 acres surveyed in
1767. The 1783 tax list seems to include Henry and his mother -- listed as
Henry Shetter and Widow Shetter. In 1792, Henry added to his original parcel,
called Rugged Race, with approx. 35 acres. His property was now bounded by
Henry Dollman, Jacob Sherrer and William Miller.
A deed resurveyed in 1815 from Jacob Shettter (Shettler, Sherrer) in York Twp
seems to indicate that John Ulrich Stettler first owned the property in a
survey completed 5 Sept 1767 and deed granted 14 Jan 1767. Was John Stettler
Henry's father or brother. Was the Jacob mentioned above a son of Ulrich,
brother to Henry?
Suggested lineage:
Henry Stettler - John Ulrich Stettler - Christian Stettler
Christian Stetler is noted as having secured a warrant for 124.53 acres on
Cocalico Creek in Lancaster County 30 July 1735.
Ulrich Stealer was issued a land warrant in Cocalico Twp. on Mill Creek,
Lancaster County, in April 1757. Is this the same Ulrich who later settles in
York Township with (supposed) on Henry?
Found Heinrich Stadtler who died in New Hanover, Montgomery Co.
on 7 Dec 1813. Born Feb 4, 1741. Buried New Hanover Lutheran Church.
(PA German Chruch Records, Vol 2, p. 387) Could this be Casper's brother?
He is not the right age to be the father of Veronica Stetler who married
George Keener. Though a relationship may exist there to apparently nearly
every generation of Stetler had at least one Heinrich (who was probably the
original immigrant for that line.)
Note: !The Stricklers were among the first persons to obtain permits from Samuel
Blunston, agent of the Penns, to settle on this side of the Susquehanna River.
They settled in Kruetz Creek Valley as early as 1732, and were in the valley
when Capt. Cressap and his band of Marylanders encroached upon the right of the
Pennsylvania settlers
Note: !daughter of Michael Miller
