Note: Granddaughter of Edmund II Ironside and sister of Edgar Atheling, who was
chosen King by Parlaiment in Oct 1066. She fled England to Scotland after
the Norman conquest in 1066 forced her brother to renounce the crown in favor
of William the Conquerer.

Adams, Joseph Captain (b. 27 NOV 1672, d. 22 JAN 1716/17)
Note: Captain Joseph Adams made his will Jan 20, 1717 and died two days later. He
makes mention of his wife Mary, his sons, Samuel, Joseph, Benjamin and Jonas
and his daughters Esther, Mary, Rebecca, Sybil, and Hannah; the widow to be
the executrix. On April 26, 1733, a committee divided the lands of the late
Capt. Joseph Adams.
